North Johnston JV baseball drops tournament finale

BENSON—Heading into last week’s championship game in the West Johnston JV Baseball Tournament, North Johnston had made all the plays it had needed to win its first 10 games of the season.

Although the Panthers had a great night at the plate, several errors opened the door for Corinth Holders to deal North Johnston its first loss of the year, 13-8.

The top of the third inning proved to be the pivotal moment in the game when two errors and a base hit loaded the bases for the Pirates.
