Princeton softball falls in championship game

ANGIER—It wasn’t what Princeton softball coach Terry Braswell was necessarily aiming for but the Bulldogs did manage to get a pair of wins last week before advancing to and then falling in the championship game of the Harnett Central Easter Tournament.

After looking impressive in a pair of wins over Triton and Apex Friendship in the first day of the tournament, the Bulldogs came up just short in the championship, falling to South Johnston, 2-1.
