Lillie Mae Crocker Brown, 90 of Pine Level, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Johnston UNCH Health Care while surrounded by her family. Lillie Mae was born in Johnston County on Nov. 26, 1926 as the youngest child to the late Clarence E. and Lillie Crumpler Crocker. She was married to her husband, Floyd L. Brown, for over 60 years until his passing. She retired from Fieldcrest-Cannon with over 30 years of service in the mid 1990’s.
She was an over 50-year member of Crumpler’s Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy near Selma, where she was very active in church.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 15 at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Interment followed at the Crocker Cemetery near Pine Level. The Rev. Craig Langdon officiated.
Lillie Mae is survived by her children, Phyllis Morrison (Ricky) of Goldsboro and Rose Morgan (Charles) of Pine Level; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren; one niece and two nephews; and many special family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Crocker; and a sister, Pauline Cole.
