People across Johnston County, including the towns of Selma and Kenly, are looking forward to this weekend’s annual 301 Endless Yard Sale that takes place June 16-17 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Selma Mayor Cheryl Oliver said the sale is expected to bring thousands of shoppers through town.
The event stretches over 100 miles from Halifax to Harnett counties. In Johnston County, the route stretches over 30 miles along U.S. 301 from Kenly to Benson.
“Tobacco Farm Life Museum staff in Kenly enjoys the 301 Endless Yard Sale event each year,” said curator/manager Melody Worthington.
“Shoppers will have the opportunity to buy a wide variety of items ranging from antiques to knick-knack items,” said Oliver. “In addition to finding bargains along the sale route, shoppers will find special sales in our Uptown Selma stores.”
Oliver said the 301 Endless Yard Sale continues to help people discover and explore Selma.
