The Town of Selma will host a Business After Hours for the Smithfield-Selma Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, June 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Gazebo, located at the 100 block of East Anderson Street behind the Town Hall.
The Raiford Street Band will provide entertainment. Admission is free with a business card.
Melissa Dooley, Selma Parks and Recreation events planner, said she wanted the town to host the event for several reasons.
“Selma businesses are hurting for publicity and need to be in the spotlight,” said Dooley. “Our gazebo is a cool place. It’s a unique feature that not every town has and it’s fun to meet other people.”
