Mural adds life to Princeton’s downtown

Guy Simmons, a Goldsboro artist, honed his artistic style on the street. Last week, he used it to beautify a Princeton business.

Emily Figueras, co-owner of the Milltown Java, is also the gallery director for the Art Council of Wayne County. That’s where she became familiar with Simmons’ work.

So, the owners commissioned Simmons to paint a mural on the side of their building, located at 116 S. Center St.
