Panthers drop season finale

Needing a win to try to extend its season into the playoffs with a potential wild card berth, North Johnston traveled to Nash Central and fell to the Bulldogs, 63-26, one week after Nash Central put 70 points on the board against North Pitt.

Nash Central wasted little time in taking control of the game, building a 41-7 lead as the Bulldogs (9-2 overall, 4-1 EPC) joined a three-way tie at the top of the Eastern Plains 2A Conference standings along with Beddingfield and SouthWest Edgecombe.
