Princeton salutes veterans on Nov. 11

The theme for the 2017 Princeton Veterans Day Celebration on Saturday, Nov. 11, is “A Salute to Vietnam Veterans.”

The celebration will feature a Chili Cook Off, parade and grandstand event and vendor sales throughout the day.

The parade grand marshal is retired U.S. Army Sgt. James D. “Jim” Lassiter and the grandstand’s keynote speaker is retired U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Anthony Evans. Both are Vietnam veterans.
