Barrett Davis has been playing volleyball since she was in the first grade and playing travel volleyball since the sixth grade so it’s easy to see how the sport has seeped into her bloodstream.
The co-conference player of the year in the Eastern Plains will continue her passion for the sport in college as she signed her national letter of intent to play volleyball at William Peace University.
Having also mildly considered Brevard, Mount Olive and UNC Pembroke, Davis saw Peace as being the perfect fit for her and one that could help her continue to play the game she loves and also prepare to possibly follow in her mother’s footsteps and coach someday.
“I got to know the coaches and I like that the volleyball program has been very successful and also the small college atmosphere,” said Davis.
