The Princeton indoor winter track team traveled to Roseboro last Thursday and competed in the Lakewood High School Polar 3 meet.
Although both the boys team and girls team posted fourth place finishes at the event, the major goal of the season is qualifying for the state championships and four Bulldogs have already done so this season.
Princeton has three state qualifiers in the pole vault alone as Luke Brush and Ben Bayles have met the qualifying standard for the boys and Gracie Whitley has done the same for the girls competition. Zoe Byrd has also qualified for states in the girls triple jump.
Last Thursday, Leah Garris turned in a good performance for the girls finishing second in the triple jump, second in the long jump and fourth in the 55-meter dash.
