Princeton Church of God to expand services starting Jan. 21

Beginning Sunday, Jan. 21, Princeton Church of God will move to two worship services on Sunday mornings.

“Over the last several years the church has been blessed with growth in our attendance and we feel the time has come to expand on that growth,” said Lead Pastor Matt Cornett. “While we find it necessary to accommodate larger attendance, the most important thing this growth offers us is the opportunity to expand our ministries into our community and reach those who are lost.

“We want to be a place where everyone can come as they are and worship and come to know Jesus. Our mission is to seek out the lost.”

Worship times will be 9 a.m. for the first service followed by the same service at 10:30 a.m.

“This not only offers more options but also gives our members the opportunity to serve in a much greater capacity than we have ever seen,” said Cornett. “The children will still have Children’s church, and for those children attending the first service, a small group session will be offered during the second service.

“Our intention is that we offer the same service at two different times,” said Cornett, who said he is excited about what the Lord is doing at Princeton Church of God.

“He is opening doors and we intend to step through them to reach our community,” said Cornett.
