Fund raiser underway for Selma K-9s

Fredrick the Great of Prussia, back in the 1700s is credited with first saying, “A dog is a man’s best friend.”

But nowhere is that more true than at the Selma Police Department and its 6-year-old K-9 dogs Jin and Major.

The Never Forget 9-11 Foundation of Benson has launched a campaign to raise $5,600 to purchase a vest, two Buddy Bags and a Hot-n-Pop Pro for the two police dogs.

To find out more about the K-9 fundraiser, pick up a copy of this week’s Selma News on sale NOW!
