2 crosses erected in Kenly for Easter celebration

Richard Durham, left, Trey Durham and William Duthie carry the Easter cross that will be erected at Kenly Cemetery for Easter sunrise service.

With a theme of “At the Cross,” Kenly Ministerial Association (KMA) is planning to erect two wooden crosses for Easter.

One will be erected at the intersection of N.C. 222 and U.S. 301, where the Kenly Chamber has its information sign.

The other will be erected at Grady Park, but will be moved permanently to Kenly Cemetery on Good Friday.
