Two men were arrested Sunday morning as they were parked in front of a house on Corbette Avenue in Selma.
The men, Gray Gaylord and Matthew David Brannen, were charged with trespassing and with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Gaylord also was charged with felony possession of cocaine.
Each man was placed under $2,500 secured bond.
The incident began when a resident of the house called police and said someone had knocked on her door but that she could not see anyone. She also said her dogs were barking.
When police arrived, two men in a van were parked in front of the residence.
The officer asked if either had knocked on the door and one of the men said he had because he knew the man who lived there.
However, when police brought the man out to the van, he told police he did not know either of them.
Police then asked if the men had any illegal substances on them.
Both men agreed to allow themselves and the van to be searched.
