Incoming Princeton principal said there was only one choice to make

Incoming Princeton Elementary School principal Melissa Hurst said there was only one choice for her as she considered her next professional move.

Hurst was named Princeton Elementary principal last week to replace Rhonda Ward, who is moving to become executive director of Johnston schools academic innovations.

She is assistant principal at Holly Hills High School in Wake County. She said that while she loves it, she welcomes the transition to elementary school.
