Local fire departments participate in training exercise

Two Johnston County fire departments used an abandoned Selma farmhouse and barn for a controlled burn training exercise last week.

Selma and Pine Level firefighters met at 444 Firetower Road on Monday, May 7.

The training exercise began at 7 p.m. with a safety briefing.
