PRINCETON—Brianna Myers discovered something about herself during her time at Princeton High School being an integral part of the perennial power that is the Bulldogs softball program.
She can’t stop playing.
Fortunately for Myers, who possessed the Bulldogs’ highest batting average this past season, she won’t have to stop. She will join longtime friend and former teammate Beth Braswell at N.C Wesleyan to play for the Battling Bishops, as she officially signed last week.
Being part of the state championship-winning team her sophomore season and playing on N.C. State’s Dail Field, Myers knew then she wanted to continue playing after her high school days.
“It felt like we were playing college ball,” recalled Myers. “When I got that experience, I (knew) I really wanted to go to college and play.
“I can’t stop playing.”
