Local fireworks bring crowds during July Fourth

Good weather coupled with impressive fireworks shows brought out large crowds at the Kenly and Pine Level Fourth of July celebrations last week.

Town of Pine Level’s event was held in Sam Godwin Recreation Park and based on most remarks heard following the event most people were pleased with how things went.

Activities began at 5 p.m. with Karaoke, live music, inflatables and other games as part of the celebration package.
