Selma’s Urban Beach Party draws 350 people

The Selma Parks and Recreation’s second annual Urban Beach Party Saturday, Aug. 4 was a splashing good time.

“It was a great event,” said Event Planner Melissa Dooley. “We had maybe 350 people and we all had a great time, of course.”

Dooley said the highlight of the day was the water balloon toss.

DJ Clarence “CJ” Morgan spun beach party tunes on South Raiford Street between Anderson and Railroad Streets.
