Kenly’s first Community Day was successful

Kenly’s first Back to School Bash was a success, according to both Town Manager Michael Douglas and Parks and Recreation Director Tim Narron.

More than 100 children and adults participated in the event held at the soccer field behind the former Glendale-Kenly Elementary School. A water slide was continuously in use during the hot afternoon. There was also bounce houses, a dunking booth, free hot dogs, games, a DJ and the Kenly Fire Department and Rescue Squad brought vehicles.
