Mexican national charged with illegal reentry

A man who federal authorities have deported four times was found in Johnston County and indicted on a charge of illegal reentry of a deported alien.

If convicted, Guadalupe Burgos-Soto, 33, of Mexico, could face two years imprisonment, a $250,000 fine and a term of supervised release following any imprisonment.

U.S. Attorney Robert J. Higdon, Jr. made the announcement Friday through a news release issued by his spokesman, Don Connelly.

The  U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is investigating the case.
