Corinth Holders loses third in a row

After starting the season 4-0, the Corinth Holders football team lost its third-straight contest in a 48-14 loss to Heritage High on Friday night.

The Pirates (4-3, 0-1), playing their first 4-A Northern Athletic Conference game of the season, did not score until the fourth quarter, when the Huskies were already leading 45-0. A second score came with under a minute left in the game.

Corinth Holders will play Wake Forest High (6-1, 1-0) at home on Friday, Oct. 18.
