A widespread freeze and wind chills in the 20s are headed our way by the weekend.
First, though, The Wilson Times area should enjoy several days of moderate temperatures in the mid-60s during the day and the lower 40s overnight. After a slight chance of a shower early Tuesday, skies are expected to be mostly sunny into Thursday afternoon.
A cold front being pushed by chilly Canadian air is forecast to arrive Friday morning, ushering in January-like temperatures through overnight Saturday.
Moderating temperatures and partly cloudy skies should make for a pleasant Sunday afternoon. For details, click on the Weathercast's audio link below.
