Temperatures in the mid-90s are gone, but high humidity arriving on Wednesday and sticking around through the weekend will make the more seasonable warmth feel every bit as uncomfortable, Albert Thomas Jr. explains in this week's installment of The Wilson Times Weathercast brought to you by

From Wednesday through Saturday, expect a 40-50% chance of late-afternoon thunderstorms with a 20% chance of storms overnight.

After a crisp Tuesday morning low in the mid-50s, a warmup begins with a daytime high around 80 degrees. For the rest of the week, expect highs in the mid-80s and lows in the lower 60s from Wednesday through Saturday.

Albert Thomas Jr., a Wilson attorney and retired judge, will weigh in on Wilson's weather conditions each Tuesday and Saturday. Thomas is a forecast aficionado who recalls Wilson community weatherman Joe Overman's broadcasts on WVOT radio.
