As long as a stationary front remains in place, pleasant and stable weather is expected this week under partly cloudy skies, Albert Thomas Jr. explains in this week's installment of The Wilson Times Weathercast brought to you by NCWheels.com.
Daytime highs should range from 82 to 84 degrees Tuesday through Thursday with low temperatures falling in the 62-64-degree range. A cold front is expected to ratchet up rain chances Friday and through the weekend as it plods a leisurely path from the western North Carolina mountains to the coast.
Expect a 20% chance of showers Friday morning to increase to 40% in the late afternoon. There's a 40-50% likelihood of showers and storms through Sunday evening.
